UB-TAKeOFF mobile app is an interactive voice response-based mobile phone surveillance system for surveillance of filarial lymphedema. UB-TAKeOFF leverages mobile phone surveillance to accelerate treatment of podoconiosis diseases.
To address the filariasis and podoconiosis diseases, the TAKeOFF mobile app contributes to the innovative strategies which is of utmost importance in improving the care of patients, reducing suffering; and the prevention of morbidity, stigmatization and economic losses.
